Printmaking Classes
Preschool Kids 4-6

Wednesdays 10:00 - 11:00 Max 6 Children

$15 /class or $120 /term (20% off)

Below are some of the printmaking techniques explored with this group of children. I will adjust each week according to the group.

• Chalk Printing - similar to marbling, but using chalk
• Stamping - using pre-carved rubber stamps, on paper and fabric
• Tangrams Stamping - creating shapes with simple geometric stamps
• Cyanotype/Sunprint - printing images on pre-treated paper, using sunlight
• Jelly Printing - free-form printing using jelly matrix
• Edible Printing - stenciling and stamping on homemade crackers/crepes with jam as ink
• Cardboard Relief - using cardboard packaging, rollers, nontoxic ink/ acrylic paint, baren, spoons
• Foil Monoprint - drawing on foil using printmaking ink
• Vegetable Stamping - print using vegetables
• Cork Stamping - each child will make their own unique stamps on cork block

At the end of the term, each child will go home with an A5 book of their prints.

Printmaking Classes
School Kids 7-11

Tuesdays 3:30 - 5:00 Max 8 Children

$25 /class or $200 /term (20% off)

Below are some of the printmaking techniques explored with this group of children. I will adjust each week according to the group.

• Cardboard Relief Printing - using cardboard from packaging i.e. cereal box, roller, acrylic paint, and printed on paper using woodden spoons or barens
• Drypoint - an intaglio technique of scratching images on drypoint paper and printed using pasta maker
• Kitchen Lithography - using the concept of grease repelling water, this technique uses foil, sharpie/pencil/crayon, water and cola
• Stamping - creating picture stories with pre-carved stamps
• Cyanotype/Sunprint - printing images on pre-treated paper, using sunlight
• Jelly Printing - free-form printing using jelly matrix
• Edible Printing - stenciling and stamping on homemade crackers/crepes with jam as ink
• Woodblock & Lino Printing - printing pre-carved wood blocks in Japanese tradition, and lino
• Monoprinting - using card stock paper, magazines, etc.
• Screen Printing - using embroidery hoops, cloth, glue and acrylic paint

At the end of the term, each child will go home with an A5 book of their prints.
